Upgrade from B7331

My company is using B7331 with SP7.1 on AS/400 V4R5. I have a general question How to upgrade this configuration to XE. The most important difficulty is many custom modifications. We have another machine (AS/400) and we can use it to do this upgrade.

Any information would be great.

My general recommendation would be to seek out a senior consultant with experience on Oneworld upgrades on AS/400. With all of the mods you have, this will not be as straight forward as you may think.

In preparation, you should look up the MTR's for Oneworld Xe on the AS/400 and download, order and apply any PTF updates needed per the APAR for V4R5.

Beyond that, I would look for some experience and outsource the heavylifting on the upgrade. Just my opinion.
