Slow initial startup of screens

When starting up a program for the first time (e.g. take order), on a Citrix server, it takes 15 to 20 seconds before the screen appears. Closing it and starting it again => 2 seconds. Log off/log on => 15 to 20 seconds again.

It appears to me some caching issue on the Citrix server. Any tips/tricks how I can avoid/reduce this first-time startup problem?

If you figure anything out...please let me know also. We are experiencing "slowness" on our Citrix servers also, but really saw it slow down when we upgraded to Metaframe XEa. JDE says only SP1 is supported so if you are beyond SP1 that may be part of the problem.
