.tif vs. .pdf as attachments

We are thinking of using .tif files for attachments instead of .pdf. Does anyone see a problem with this? I've tested it and it appears to be okay. I just want to know if there are any gotcha's. Thanks.

no gotcha's other than you can't include them in reports or on screens in OneWorld (just like word docs, pdfs, *&&*^!!)
