Error messages in JDEINST.log

Why are all of these error messages appearing in the JDEINST.log after accepting a package? Why are there references to DV when I am accepting a package for PD?

I noticed that the other day also. Do you know how the installation takes a long time when it first starts up? I think it is reading all of the packages in the package.inf directory in order to find the 'approved' ones to bring up on the screen, for selection of package. I think it must pass through this stage, even if the update is from a deploy, it uses the same setup.exe program.

I certainly know how long it takes to accept a package! On some PCs it can take as little as 5 minutes, but others over 45 minutes. I've even got one PC that gets that nasty "install failed" box after the install (accept) completes. When you look at the jdelist.log, it says completed successfully. What;s the story with that?
