Server Package

Hi List,

I also have a ERP 8 on Solaris. with SP21 and Update 1.

For the first time, I have noticed that the serverbuild.log on ES (which is on Solaris) it says
Fri Aug 8 18:18:41 2003 spkgutil.c6051 Delete Object R5641070, + from specs
Fri Aug 8 18:18:41 2003 spkgutil.c6051 Delete Object R5641070, ISDC001 from specs

Any ideas...
I have attached the log also. Though the server package end with error but there are no errors anywhere in the log.

It would be very kind of you to put in your knowledged comments.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is how it is supposed to work. It removes the specs for the objects you are building and replaces them with the newly compiled objects.. As for your report showing errors, but no errors showing up in the logs, I have experienced this also. It is a known issue.. Search the JDELIST, I'm sure you will find a posting. I found a document on the KG, and it basically said that JDE didn't know why it was occuring, but that nothing was wrong with the packages. If you want the PDF to show up with no errors, just resubmit the package from the Build History application.
