Rebates - Advanced Pricing

Is there a way to set up thresholds on rebates so that the customer would
receive a rebate of 1% for sales 0- $250,000, then receive rebate of 2% on
any thing after $250,000? What I am seeing with my current set up is that
once they get past $250,000 then it is applying the 2% to everything.

There's a "complex" rate, at least that's what I think its called. Simple
rates do as you describe, apply one rate to all qualifying amounts. Complex
rates can apply 1 rate to the first level, a 2nd rate to the 2nd level, etc.
There's just one problem, you can't do the combination of complex rates and
percentage rebates. I guess the programmer felt more like writing an error
message than doing the arithmetic. This shouldn't be hard to fix on site.
