Since B9 is unicode, does the OS/400 still need to have the languages applied?.
Lets say if B9 was to be running on Simplifies Chinese and Korean. In the XE sceanario we would have loaded English Upper case/Lower case as the primary language and chinese as the secondary language on the OS/400.
With B9 and DB2 UDB, my understanding is that this is still required. Please correct me on this one.
Also DB2 UDB comes loaded with V5R2, is there any other setting that needs to be changed to make it active?. During the upgrade process, does OneWorld recognize the UDB?.
Due to Unicode will the CCSID setting have to be changed to the required language say for eg: 939 for japanese during the install process?.
