Hi
My client will like to create a backup location for JDE instalaltion . Now they will have a brand new install of JDE created ( new deployment server, enterpriserver and webserver only production environment wil be created they will be on same update and SP level)) offsite. and in case of any disaster they will switch to this location.

Backup and restore of business and control table willbe done nightly. But how do I go about restoring objects. Central object specs etc......

I had three options in my mind Pls guide me which is possible under this scenario and which wil be easier for the client to maintain

1) Product packaging

2) Create an additonal OMW activity and move object from primary location to secondary location using oMW

3) Restore directories and cnetral object from the back up of original database.. .

is there any other possiblity in this scenario
Pls advice

Maybe SQL replication to keep the deployment servers in Sync?

I haven't set this up ever, so it may be the wrong tool.
