How to copy prod data to test

Noob CNC question - please don't laugh

New CRP setup, we have entered the constants in prod and some other business data into prod environment. What is the procedure or documentation to tranfer this data to test environment? I assume it is r98403 version - but which one?

what platform are you on? If sql just restore a prod backup INTO test. Change table owners and away you go. Much faster that R98403

R98403 would be the canned answer if you call the response line. If you
specify your DB, I am sure that some of the fine people on this list can
provide you with a few shortcuts.
