Error while connecting to ES

We had installed ERP 8.0. DS/ES where installed properly without any error. Client Installation was also completed successfully. But when we try to login, it gives the "Unable to retrieve Business View Information - Application P9881" error and doesn't allow to login. I had attached the log file for reference.






ES NT 4.0 Sp 6a ,DS NT 4.0 Sp 6a, Oracle 9.0.1.0

Is your Ocale-Client installed properly? The system is looking for JDBOCI80.DLL. Do you have this file on your clients? I had a similar issue in austria on a HP9000 where we had to install a new service pack to get it running with Oracle 9.
 
It should also be JDBOCI90.DLL, not JDBOCI80.DLL, for Oracle 9.

Hi Alex,

from do you get this DLL, with SP18.1 you have only JDBOCI80.DLL n your system. I know, we installed SP20 in austria and then it was working...

Hi Hsickel,
Thanks for the input. JDBOCI80/90.dll all this files were present. The main problem was with oracle clinet installation.
Now it is working fine.
