Must I use Business Data - Test

We have the PD7334, PY7334 and DV7334 environments on ERP8. My developers complain that their data is different from the CRP team. So I've changed the OCM setting for DV7334 default objects to point to "Business Data - CRP". Is this all I have to do? Can I delete the "Business data - TEST" since it takes up 30gb? Am I asking for problems down the road?

Going live in August with ERP8 U1 SP21 Oracle 9.2 Unix Solaris
Currently Live with B8331 SP15.1 Oracle 8.1.5 Unix Solaris

Jeff,
you CAN do that. The question is whether or not you should.
What your developers complain about is a very common problem.
The Dev environment has it's own set of Data for a good purpose. Developers need to test programs and sometimes tests go wrong. Data may be deleted, corrupted, changed or worse.
I would suggest that you maintained your Business Data - Test and copied the data from PY7333 (Business Data - CRP) on top. You should copy the Control Tables then as well. You may use R98403 to copy, or, as you've got over 30Gig, use database tools to copy (it's faster).

Good luck, Gerd
