Inovis Formats for One World

Sorry about the multiple posts but just noticed that my original title was misleading.

I am looking for information regarding Inovis formast for One World.
A contact I have at Inovis sent me this as part of a support request;

We have been informed that our templates work as planned with JDE World, but
it appears that there have been significant interface file changes made by
JDE company from World to One World and they cause our Templates to not work
properly with One World and require a major effort to make them effective. I
believe that the plan going forward may be to make Professional Services
mandatory when purchasing our Templates to work with JDE One World.


Just wondering what anyone else has had as far as experience with this combination.

Bob,
JDE interfqce tables not only have changed from W->OW they change on th release also.

I nicely had pretty much a complete set until I treid to use them on a later verion - 7332 to 7333. Now I only have ost of them.....
I fully expect to go back to none when B9 comes in...

They are right - to keep them up todate is some effort.

We bought the templates when we got OW and only the 850 really worked. No one at now call Invois bothered to update the templates and we spent alot of additional time worring over why they didn't work. Reply and we should be able to help.

AS/400

Again too brief.... We will be using an AS/400 LPAR machine.
SO we weill also need to 'promote' out formats from the 'development' portion to the 'production' on a on-going basis.

When I worked for JDE ... I worked on an internal EDI project using Inovis
on the AS/400... we were able to get it to work.. but I do remember
something about looking at the TAM Files because the Invois maps were
looking at the wrong "Area" for the item description ... which caused them
to be useless unless you knew the alias names for the fields (which luckily
I knew most of them)... is that causing your issue as well?
