Inovis formats for world

I am looking for information regarding Inovis formast for One world.
A contact I have at Inovis sent me this as part of a support request;

We have been informed that our templates work as planned with JDE World, but
it appears that there have been significant interface file changes made by
JDE company from World to One World and they cause our Templates not work
properly with One World and require a major effort to make them effective. I
believe that the plan going forward may be to make Professional Services
mandatory when purchasing our Templates to work with JDE One World.

Just wondering what anyone else has had as far as experience with this combination.

TIA, Bob K.

Actually i have been working with Inovis on this very issue. Currently
however my two clients both use Sterling which does have the interfaces...
so I am not sure if can answer your question directly or not. Do you have a
specific group of transactions you are trying to process? thanks, Bobby

Thanks for the reply.
We are just 'getting into' JDE oOne World and had hopped that the formats package that Inovis sold us would help us.
We have been doing EDI for some time off a homegrown system, trading a basic set of documents, 810, 816, 832, 850, 856, 860, 864, 823. The sales rep. from Inovis told us their package would give us 50 to 75% of what we needed to go forward. But we ran into all kinds of problems installing it and finally one of the better tech. support people I've run in to gave me the information included in my original post.

I'm just trying to find out what other JDE One World users have done/experienced along these lines.
