Batch Number

Hi List,

Can one batch number be used more than once in the system with different batch types? Right now, the answer i got is no, but there is one report R007031- Batch To Detail/Out of Balance report showing the following information:
batch number- 4266, batch type - W, Error- Batch header Deleted. No detail exists.

But in the system, there is the same batch number 4266 with batch type V exists.

Is it a bug from R007031, or anything else?

Thank you for any help.

budLL,
Look at the keys to the batch header table and type, number and GL date are used to make the records unique. Hence, you can have batch numbers the same where the batch type are different.
