Tuning JDE5/OW Kernels

Hello list,

At a Quest Canada Technical Maintenance session in March, the presenters
stated that the OneWorld Kernels should be tuned, but didn't provide much
detail. As we have recently upgraded our Development environment to ERP8.0,
we decided that it was good advice & have started to research how to tune
them. As I couldn't find any knowledge documents on the KG, I opened a call
with JDE who couldn't provide me with the information.

Does anyone have any experience with tuning the Kernels & have any
recommendations that can be used as a general guideline?

I just got back from the Quest User Conference and they talked a lot about kernal performance tweeking as well. If anyone has any information on how we go about optimizing kernals it would be greatly appreciated.
