Adding new DD

I would like to add a couple of new error messages which I assume is stored in the data dictionary. How do I get these changes out to the users. Will they jiti down? Building and deploying a full package is not an option. Thanks in advance for you input.

Patty, if the DD items are NEW (as opposed to changing an existing item)
they will be jitied to the user's WSs and the ES.

Error messages are added via the Error Messages (P92002) program. Go to the Data Dictionary Design Menu and you should see the Error Messages appllication listed there.

I'm assuming that the Error Messages get JITI'd so, try deleting the DDDICT, DDTEXT, and GLBLTBL files (after creating your error messages of course) on the other machine(s) and see if you can see your error messages.

I was told in order to get the new DD out, it has to be rebuilt. I have developed a procedure for this. It seems to work pretty good for us.
