Item Master Z Files

Is there a way of updating the Cat Codes (i.e. via the Z-file) after the item master records are in use?

I am sure there is. Have you had a problem? JDE sent me the enclosed Interoperability Document a couple of years ago and it goes a long way towards answering these sort of questions.
