Outlook Portal Components not displaying

Has anyone come across a problem whereby the Outlook portal components (Inbox and calendar) are not displayed.

This only affects a few of our clients. Everything on this machines appears to be standard - location of Outlook, version of Internet Explorer. I've not noticed any specific security/settings within IE or on the client itself (Windows 2000 Pro.) that would be affecting this.

Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

Thanks

DANNY

And you call yourself a developer Mr. Pierce!! :)

(luckily he sits opposite me so I can kick him for being unhelpful!!) :))

Well that's just charming, you old cockney wanka!

We'll all be out of a job soon anyway, thanks to Mr Ellison, so who cares!!

This was a serious question (and still is) despite you dragging it down with your lewd remarks...you knobhead! :p

I believe it's your turn to make the coffee...so get making... :)

Apologies everyone....any suggestions still gratefully welcomed

I'm having the same problem with the outlook portal component. Just started looking at it in JDE5-SP22, and haven't seen it work at all. Where can I find documentation on it?

Did you guys have to license the WebSphere application in order to run this Portal component? IBM and JDE have told me that anything other than a JDE portlet must have WebSphere fully license. The cost is ridiculous!!

I would love to use the Outlook portlet...have you guys fot it working?

So, officially, you are not licensed for the Outlook component? Don't worry, I am not an IBM sales person! :)
