Cluster server does not recognize New 1gig adapter

I have clustered Enterprise servers I replaced the 100 mb adapters with 1
gig adapter. The cluster server does not recognize the new adapter.
Help What did I miss . I replaced the adapters on the Deployment anc Citrix
servers with no problems
We are running Sql 2000 Windows 2000 Oneworld XE Update 4 SP 21
