Hi Guys
I am trying to provide view access of JDEdwards to users. So I have setup action security for *All with only ok/select button set to Y and all other action button set to N. I am facing the following problems as I expand my list of applications for view
1. There are some row exits in some application that can modifiy the data( like delete row exits etc).
2. Even though the add/delete buttons are grayed out. But Ok button has dual functionality. In some applications, user can modify the data with OK button.
3. If some applications have media button then user can modify the media attachments if they have access to the application.
Has anybody done it before? If yes then what is the standard approch that ensure that user can only view and does not modify the data?
