New Deployment Server question...

Our new DS has arrived and I pulled up a document from the KG, OTI-99-0057, "Changing out a Deployment Server".

Looks pretty straight forward except we will be converting to SQL2000 as well.

An 'gotchas' or things to look out for with swapping out the DS (note:we'll be keeping the same DS name).

Grant, there are 4 or 5 tables that need to be updated but they aren't listed on the JDE KG document. Do a search on the List for "Changing Deployment Server" or "Replacing Deployment Server" and you should find the previous discussions about this along with the complete list of tables. HTH

Search for the subject 'Changing out XE Enterprise and Deployment servers'
I did the change for the Oracle server. If you modify the script to MS-SQL format, it can be useful in your case.
