International Use of Citrix and Excel Export

We have a 13 server Citrix farm. This farm is in production for our US operations. France is in Development/CRP processes now. They are currently configured to use the same Citrix servers.

We have found a problem when someone in France exports data to Excel, Excel interprets the comma as thousands which is not the case for them. They use the comma as a separator like we use the period to separate between dollars and cents. What we are seeing is that Excel is changing 3 Euros into 3,000 Euros.

Has anyone run into this? How was it addressed?

I believe that I saw a SAR addressing this when I was reading through the docs for SP21_H1.
