Database Data Sources

When you make changes to the System or Server Map Data Sources in XE, is there any other steps required to enable these changes (ie bouncing services, just logging out and back in to reset the cache, etc?) I am running on a UNIX enterprise server.

You don't have to bounge service, loggin out and back in should reflect the changes, for datasources for OCM mapping you have to first activate them.
