ERP 8 Product Packaging

Hi List,

Are there any issues with product packaging in ERP 8. I can accross couple of such issues in KG, where they say that CD template was not included in the ERP 8 base installation and an ESU has to be applied JE1300.
How different is setup of product packaging in ERP 8 from XE.
I have couple of doc for XE ( OTM-00-0047 and OTM-01-0001) which details me with the setup of Product packaging in XE.
Please advice..

Well folks,
We need to apply JE1300 for product packaging and follow the steps as mentioned in OTM-02-0038.

Actually you don't need to apply the ESU it does not do anything...just follow the steps for copying the template from 7333 to 7334 as explained in the document and everything will work fine OTM-02-0038.

This is what I did and all works fine.

I have already applied the ESU and did go through the steps. But when I tried product package the .exe and .cab files were created in a folder "esus". Any idea..

That wher mine is being created also....I guess I am satisfied one they are being created, for now I will follow up on it in a week or so.
