Jdenet Error Out

Dear List,

We are experiencing a serious problem after upgrading from OneWorld Xe to ERP 8 last weekend. Our jdenet kernels keep failing after 8 to 10 hours. The log say: KNT0000306 - JDENET Error = eTimeOut. When that happens, no one can log into OneWorld, run any batch jobs and the subsystem fails.

We also received this error message:
1820/616 Wed Apr 09 21:35:34 2003 EXTMSGQ.C270
MsgHdr size not correct for getMsgHdrFromBuf, message queue may be out of sync
We did change the the PC key value (startIPCkeyvalue) to a higher value. Has anyone seen this before? Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help,

Tet :

What is the Timeout value on your server JDE.INI? Perhaps it is too short.

Tet,

The time out value suggestion is a good one, but what application, UBE, or whatever, is causing the time out? What are the application, BSFN, or NER entries leading up the the failure. (Look for an error level 2 being returned somewhere in the log).

If you have trouble making a determination here, open a call with JDE GSS, but first download and run Support Assistant for submission of all system parameters to them. This will drastically cut down the time needed to assess your situation.

A SAR search indicates only 14 SARs relating to "JDENET" for ERP 8, none of which really seem to point to your problem/parameters specifically though.

Regards, SDW

re[2]: Jdenet Error Out

We changed the timeout value to 300. I think our problem is the ipc, all of a sudden it stopped working or stopped responding. The following are the error messages from the server logs:
KNT0000305 - JDENET Error =JDENET eIPCERR:iIPCNotFound.
Could not retrieve complete message from IPC queue, Message aborted.

Thanks,
Tet
