Disabling UserOverrides

How has anyoen attempted to disable UserOVerrides?
We have secured people from saving them to the F98950 table which allows them to do grid formats and such, but they aren't saved for them upon logging back in.

How are others trying to keep users from using them?

Could you please clarify what you are and are NOT trying to do? You state that you've secured people from saving user overrides, but then you also state that they aren't saved for them upon logging back in. Which one do you want, or is there something here that I'm missing.

Please clarify and then maybe we can offer some suggestions.
