Batch Versions in Solution Explorer intermittently hangs

When using OneWorld XE(solution explorer only) on any fat client we sometime have Batch Versions hang before it fully loads up. Has anyone seen this before? We are on SP19.1
 
Check if you have virus scanning running, this caused a similar issue on one
of my sites.

You should certainly consider getting off the bad Service Pack 19.1 - I think many would agree that this service pack did cause many issues.

Reliable service packs on Xe include :

SP15.1, SP18.1, SP20

I don't like to put any customer on any other combination personally - and SP21 is a little too new right now for a Production Environment (its great for pre-production).
