Check In/Out

guys,
i have a very wired situation, when my users are using the batch version application P98305 they can create their own versions, but they cant make check in/out to any versions while they can check in/out from the OMW !!!!!
I checked the security workbench, the object management configuration but nothing there is related to this issue…does any one have a tip????

There is a SAR, 5972044, that may address your issue.

Under normal circumstances, creating a version from Batch Versions should place the created version in the user'd Default Project in OMW. The newly created versions would be displayed as checked-out.

Once there, a new project would have to be created (with proper rights for owner/developer....) They would then move their objects from Default to the new project - then be able to promote?

Are the new versions not being created in the user's default?

Are the user creating new projects and assigning themselves the proper roles?
