Copy Costs

What is the best way to copy my cost for my manufactured items at one branch
to all my other branches where the item is considered a purchase part
without bringing over all the cost components? Currently we are copying the
frozen cost to all the branches, freezing the costs at the other branches,
then simulating the cost to remove the cost components and then freezing the
costs to update again to update the F4105. Or, does it really matter if the
cost components are attached to the item when it is at a branch where the
item is considered a purchased part ? Won't this cause a problem with the
material burned AAI, if my costs somehow get out of sync between the 2
branches ?

As far as I know standard JDE only offers you the copy by components. The procedure you describe is running at some customers I know.

The alternative used by others is a custom program that will copy the F4105 records that is required (take into account stock valuation).
