F0150 Org Structure Parenting

Hello -

In OneWorld XE, in the F0150 Advanced Org Structure; can you have multiple records with the same AddressBook Number and Structure Type, but different parents. In the instances where I've seen this happening, the structure type is blank.

This doesn't seem right.
If it is right, what is the business purpose of this and how would I know which parent to assign to customers in the F03012?

It didn't seem right to us either. We are an AS400 shop and simply added a logical file with structure type, address and parent as a key. It prevented the users from assigning the same child to multiple parents, and gave a (relatively) informative duplicate key error through the application without any re-programming.
