Oracle 8.1.6 with B7332 SP20

We are planning an update from B7332 SP11.3 to B7332 SP20. We are running Oracle 8.1.6 on AIX 4.3.3 and someone heard we cannot run Oracle 8.1.6 with B7332 SP20. They said we'd need to first apply SP15, upgrade to Oracle 8.1.7, then apply SP20. Does anyone know if that's true? Is anyone using Oracle 8.1.6 on B7332 SP20? (I cannot seem to get JDE support to give me an answer.)

for what its worth we are running 8.1.6 on B7333 SP20 with no problems.

Your informant may have been thinking of a problem in OneWorld caused by a bug in Oracle 8.1.6. To correct you could go to Oracle 8.1.6.3 or 8.1.7;
-OR-
install OW SP 15.1 or higher (JDE coded a work-around to the problem somewhere around SP 15).

Net, net I doubt there's a need to first install SP15 and then turn around to install SP20.
