How do I remove FastPath for Web

ERP8, SP21, SQL2000 SP3, Win2K, SP2

We have users who have no access to fastpath on fat clients, but on the Web client the fastpath is still there. How do I lock this out?

In Security Workbench add a Solutions Explorer security item from the form exit. You'll see fast path/find it in there.

Our web client is set to use the solution explorer menus (in HTML) so you
are quite right - the solution explorer item in security workbench does
control this - thanks.

The Web client uses Solution Explorer security by default. The steps to lock out fastpath are the same for Solution Explorer and Web:

Security Workbench
Solution Explorer Button on Exit Bar
Select a System Role (Group in OW Explorer terminology)
Select a "Preset" to secure Solution Explorer specific stuff
Modify the Preset if necessary to secure out Fastpath

Cheers, it works as you say. I had assumed that as we weren;t using Solution Explorer menus, it would not affect the web client.

Make sure that you restart the instance of JAS to clear de cache.
