R42800 Sales Update not updating F4229

HI List

I have run into a strange one. R42800 was updating / inserting into F4229 depending on whether it found a record or not. All of a sudden it stopped doing that and now only inserts if no record is found. If it finds a record I get an error message as follows:-

OCI0000179 - Error - ORA-00001: unique constraint (PRODDTA.F4229_1) violated

14688 Thu Feb 27 23:43:17 2003 jdb_drvm.c887
JDB9900401 - Failed to execute db request

14688 Thu Feb 27 23:43:17 2003 jdb_exet.c2306
JDB3600011 - Failed to perform Update for F4229

I have tried everything - I have regenerated the index (both from Oracle and from JDE). We are using R42800 vanilla.
I have rebuilt and deployed an update package for R42800 as well.

I have found nothing recent on the KG.

Any other suggestions?

off the top of my head.....i've never seen this problem before, but you could try to create a new version of the R42800, perform a package build and deploy of the new version.....the old version may have been corrupted....just an idea...

did you take a look on F42UI800 (Sales Detail Workfile)...
Pls. make sure it's empty...

Tried that - there were some entries in the workfile and they have now been trashed.

However, the problem is still there. I ran sales update batch for saturday, and no entries were created in F4229 SSQS03 for March.

aaarrrggghhh!

So I still need some help on this - anyone please?
