Update 6 (with baseline) Vs Update 7

Hello list,

We are in Update 6, SP 20 and we are having many issue after we applied baseline (JD 16881)for update 6... we are thinking about applying update 7 (SP21)

I would like to know if there are any issue that you have after applying update 7.

Two quick questions - how badly modified is your XE Deployment (are there a great deal of mods/interfaces)?

Is Update 7 dependant on SP21 (is SP21 a prereq for U7)?

No, Update 7 is not dependent on SP21

This is a new implementation, so no mods yet.

In any event, I've installed Update 7 to 2 other clients. They are both currently testing it out, but haven't hit any major snags yet. Only one of them uses Sales Orders though.

Don't forget, in addition to the first 2 baseline ESUs, you are also getting 6 more months' worth of ESUs. Update 6 had a cut off date in April 2002. Update 7 has a cut off date of October 2002.
