Citrix drive partitions ?

Citrix users,

Is there a logical drive partition recommendation or requirement to implement OW/XE on Win2K?

Is there a problem with just having one big C drive ?
I used to put OS on C and all else on D but is there a technical requirement or recommendation from OneWorld or Citrix perspective?
Thanks.

Soyer :

Everything will run fine as long as you have a C: drive.
JDE hardcodes its license path as C:\
If you don't have a C: drive, you won't be able to install a client.

Soyer,

As far as I know there is no document from JDE saying how to set them up. They usually refer you to Citrix's best practices. Which the last time I checked was to have your OS on C, Data on another partition, and Page File on another. Granted the Page File relocation isn't going to help much if it is on the same physical disk, but it does look cleaner.

I Hope this helps.

We are slowly migrating to W2k server for our citrix farm. One of the recommendations to us was to put one big C drive. That way it is easier to manage. Also if you start to run out of space, then just throw another hard drive in it, and it automagically allocates it.
Our NT4 servers have a c and a d drive, but as we swap them out, we are going to go to one big c drive.

my 2 cents worth

Thanks Jeremy. That is what we decided to do also.
Do you use JAS ? If so, are you doing the same thing there ?
I think we will do the same there.

No, unfortunately we are not using JAS right now. My co-workers and I are just not experimenting with running some legacy programs under HTML. So we are a little ways away from using any of that.

Hello, All!
I leave disk C: (for OneWorld license files):
Then I create disk M: for OneWorld client.
When I install Citrix Metaframe I don't use disk drive letter remaping.
