BarCode Prineters

I am looking for soemone with experience setting up BarCode printers in JDE that can help us figure out why we can not print to the barcode printer from JDE. We have followed all of the documentation we can find (there is not much out there) and can print to the printer outside of jde, but when we create a report and try to send it to the printer nothing happens. We are using a Zebra 105S and OneWorldXE SP20 on Windows 2000.

Can you please include your JDE system configuration? Type of Ent Srvr, OW SP level, etc...

Thanks!

Windows 2000 ent server, oneworld XE Sp20 Update 6, SQL 2000

OW SP level, etc...Thanks!

Zebra printers understand ZPL (Zebra Printing Language). Oneworld only outputs PCL, PostScript, or Lineprinter text.

You can use lineprinter and insert ZPL escape code sequences in it (cut & paste into RDA constants from notepad or somesuch) and make a Zebra printer work yourself, learning ZPL in the process, or you can use on of JDE's printing partners, such as Create!Form, FormScape, Optio, etc.
