porttest

When running porttest I get an error message process<porttest> could not be registered

Anyone any ideas

Read the Installation Guide, p.260 (NT Version). There is a list of questions to answer if PORTTEST fails. If that does not help you, write again. Include the exact error message.

Found that when the two net services are running under services in control panel, that this occurs. Stop them and it runs.
