Coexistence and CLTCOM(s)

For anyone out there running Xe coexistence, how many CLTCOM libraries do
you have?

Do you have a PRODCOM and a CRPCOM or just a single CLTCOM? Where are your
Menus, UDC's and next numbers mapped?

Thanks

Typically you would have one *com library for each business data
library. For example testcom/testdta, prodcom/proddta. You could
think of your testcom & prodcom as your control table libraries. In a
"straight" OneWorld install (other than DB2/UDB) testcom and prodcom
would be replaced by your control table libraries. I just did a new
install to DB2/UDB under AIX and believe it or not, only 5 data sources
in total.

Don't have a system handy and can't remember of the top of my head but
you could just do a wrkobj on the F0004 (as well as your next numbers
and menu's) to see where your UDC's are located.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. That's what I've seen in the past but I have a client with 2
environments and one CLTCOM. They moved some files (like F0002) to PRODDTA
but shared everything else to save space. I'm gonna try and convince them to
create a net Common datasource.

Thanks again!
