I am doing am ERP 8 install and when I ran installation planner when it attempted to validat the machines it was unable to. Hence whe you run the workbench it was not able to copy any system files because the machine identifications was flagges as invalid.
Found out that if you apply the latest ERP 8 Planner ESU JE2842 and re-validate your plan then run installation workbence the error goes away.
I had to do that in order to get my system tables to copy, tables like F9200 and other system tables.
This ties back to my previous post on porttest not working, when porttest tried to create the DDspecs and global tables it failed because the Data Dictionaries table was empty for all prah codes.
Just putting it out there if anyone else runs into it.
