JDE now offers IBM Technology Stack, which includes DB2/UDB,Websphere-4 and the IBM Portal.
We would like to go from Websphere 3.5 to Websphere 4.x BUT are struggling to decide which vendor's offering makes more sense.
We're using the JDE Portal with the Websphere3.5 and understand that JDE is moving to replace that with the IBM Portal as well as dropping support for WAS3.5 and IIS this year(June?).
Has anyone purchased/implemented the new IBM Technology Stack ?
Is this a better offer than buying it from IBM ? Why?
If you bought WAS4.x from IBM, which Portal are you implementing (if any) JDE Portal or IBM Portal ?
What are the limitations in IBM Portal when purchased from JDE vs from IBM?
Do you know when the JDE Portal support will end?
