Help!Can\'t Build Update Client Package

Dear List,

I can't seem to build an update client package all of a sudden. The problem
started late Friday. Every time I kicked off an update client package, the CPU
usage would peak up to 100% and stay at 100% indefinitely or until I terminated
the job. However if I only built a server update package, the job would finish
without any problems. Has anyone encountered this before? Any ideas?

This has happened to me when I have built 40+ updates to the same parent. In the update package BuildError.txt, shows the update is stuck at 'Updating parent package TAM file gbrspec' (or some other TAM file). To get past this problem, I had to rebuild the damaged TAM file in the parent package. Or build a new full package.

Yes, I built a new full package last night and today I can build update
packages.
