Xe Update 7

Hi,

anybody has installed or has further information about XU7 with coexistence enviroment?


I am using:

OneWorld XE SP 20 M1 - Update 5 / World A7.3 - Coexistent
AS400 - Enterprise
W2K - Deployment
W2K - Citrix Environment

Not Yet, but I plan on doing this in April after the newness of Update 7
has been tested. Let us know how it goes.

I plan on installing Update 7 in March on a new installation - so I'll get back to you on this...

I've just upgraded a B733.1 SP6/A73 CUME 10 CRP environment to Xe SP21_B1
Update 7/A73 CUME 10.

When I was installing Update 7 the F0101 TC failed because the F98305V was
pointing to the wrong datasource (default) when it should have been in
Versions - PY7333 - DNT. JDE is aware of this but because of this you can't
run the Update through the ASU process - it just shops and you can't cancel
out. I tried adding the OCM and generating the table and re running the TC
but that didn't work. I then just set the status of the TC to '60' through
the Custom Installation Planner and ran the rest of it through there.

I later found out that if I set the TC status to '60' and then hit the prev
and then next button in the Software update application then the rest of the
Update can be completed from there.

The spec merges were painfully long .
