Data selection is diabled for some users?

hi all,
i am able to do data selection forall UBE versions while login to oneworld by JDE. but for all other users i am not able to do data selection? what could be the reason?for all users except jde, dataselection check box is disabled.
no security put for all users. have anyone faced this problem earlier?

Take a look t the menus you and your staff are using. The selection for DS/Versions is attached to the menuj.
