V5R1 to V5R2 (World)

Gurus:
We are in an awkward position of upgrading to V5R2 of OS/400 soon, and we've
heard that there were some issues with the JDE system but do not sure that
those are main problems of upgrading or not?
It would be appreciated for any help and suggestions.

We are in the same position of having to upgrade from V5R1 to V5R2 and also are on A7.3 CUM 11, although we are coexistence and have OneWorld issues as well - here is what I have found out about V5R2 and World. CUM 14 will resolve the issues I have found. If you do not want to go to CUM 14 there are some SAR's and PCCPY's to apply. you would have to apply the multi SAR 5574628 then PCCPY 6166870
(they can be done before the upgrade) then apply PCCPY 6417931 (this info can be found in KG search on WST-02-0017.) You will also need to apply the IBM PTF's V5R2 latest CUM is C2344520. If you are using Client Access - I think you have to upgrade to iSeries Access. Hope this helps
