Creating JPY/JPR on WAS 4.0.4

Hi list!

I'm at the moment in the middle of setting up WAS 4.0.4 JAS on W2K. I'm trying to setup some new instances for JPR and JPY but am having some problems with the process ie how to do it.

Unfortunately, I can't find any KG docs on how to do it. I've got the 'Create Additional JAS Instances' doc from March 2002 but it's meant for WAS 3.5.6 JAS environments. WAS 4.0.4 admin console looks and works quite differently.

Any suggestions?

One trick with WAS configuration is to use the xmlconfig utility to export what you have into a (big) text file, edit it up changing all those _1's to _2 and re-import it.
That kind of approach has been recommended to us when we were setting up additional servers and/or recovering them after the repository got damaged.
