Re: [2 Instances of OneWorld Xe on same server]

The deployment server in most installations is primarily a storage location
for C-based BSFN code and the files produced from package builds.

All access is thru a share name (most times B7333).
If you wanted you could snapshot an existing installation, install a 2nd
installation to a different directory (e.g. B7333ALT) and create a new share
name with that folder. From there you could configure existing pathcodes to
point to the new share location, so your package builds and checkouts would
function correctly.

However, I'm sure there are a list of gotchas out there waiting for you like
licensing files, package installations, JDE supportability.

The only time I recollect that JDE ever promoted anything like this is during
a upgrade process, where they said you could use snapshot to allow you to
toggle between your current release and the release you're upgrading to.
