RES: SP20_J1

John, Service Packs replace the System directory and also supply an allready
compressed system.cab. One-off Service Packs usually are only parts of the
System directory, like one DLL. When you deploy full packages to a WS or WTS
the system.cab is used.
You need to recreate system.cab. You can do that during package build or use
JDEcompress.exe .

We just resently applied SP20 to our enterprise AS/400 and W2K deployment
server. After applying SP20 we experienced problems with P4210 (Customer
Service Inquiry) losing grid formats. We found that applying SP20_J1 was the
fix for this. The problem we are having now after applying SP20_J1 is that
when we complete a full package build and deploy it out to our Citrix farm
it has the old SP20 foundation code. The work around to this is copy the
system folder off the deployment server to our Citrix servers. This work
around will allow us to create and save grid formats. My question is where
in the package build does JD Edwards pull the foundation code from? Any help
will be greatly appriciated
