Our client wants to implement LDAP security for all his applications. They want:
1) A single login to the workstation, allowing signing in to OneWorld without the signon screen.
2) Either replacement of the current OneWorld authentication tables with the LDAP server security database, or synchronization between the LDAP Server securoty database and OneWorld's security tables.

The Novell folks who are setting this up have proposed two methods to synchronize LDAP Authentication with OneWorld Authentication:

1) Use whatever inherent LDAP ability that OneWorld has (that is, if OneWorld is already LDAP aware, use that functionality)
2) Allow the LDAP server to talk directly to the OneWorld databases to syncronize the Username and Password stored in the LDAP server with OneWorld.

Has anyone done this? I have checked the Knowlege Garden and it seems that this is supported in ERP9, but we are at OneWorld Xe, Update 6, SP19.1. It is unlikely we will go through an entire update just for LDAP functionality. So if there is no inherent LDAP capability in OneWorld Xe, we will have to use the method of manipulating OneWorld's security tables directly. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.
