Barcoding for WO Issues

Our materials group wants to look into barcoding for doing work order issues. We have a single site, and are thinking of some sort of handheld device with a cradle for downloading the WO issue transactions. What are other JDE OneWorld XE customers using for barcoding? We are a small site, so we don't want to make a major investment in consulting services. Any pointers or advice would be appreciated.

We use Sirus with Intermec Hand Helds. Its was not cheap, but it works great. We modified our WO to print Bar Codes.
