Re: [B9 Minimum Technical Requirements - Client]
Great find!
What I find most disconcerting is under the Portal link for B9, way at the
bottom.
In the "Other" requirements, it says Lotus Domino Server Version R 5.0.8
Does anyone know if truly is a requirement to run the new JDE JAS on IBM's
portal? I was on a web conference a few months back listening about JDE's
move to IBMs portal and they discussed the use of Sametime (a Lotus messenger
product like AIM) which is being featured as a collaborative tool for JDE JAS
clients. I asked if you needed Domino to use Sametime and the answer led me
to believe that Sametime, which is a part of Domino would be available as a
standalone app running on Websphere.. no Domino required.
